2001-10-20 - 1:28 a.m. - professor today ed and i shared the grey day over coffee and conversation about old poetry professors and electronic music made to scare children. then we went to the broken crayon and i got a cd by the band Palace and Ed got extraordinarily lucky and got a copy of the first Saturday Looks Good To Me LP...its hard to find.after that i met matt and rachel back at their place and we played some music. beautiful soft music for drinking or dreaming or both. maybe for drinking red wine from the bottle and looking out the window on a fall day. or maybe music to grow old to without growing old. without forgetting how to appreciate all the amazing things in your life. maybe its all of these things. and now im back in bowling green. i listened to bluegrass on the radio on the way back. and now here i am. happy to have been in cleveland spending time with wonderful people. happy to be back by myself and bored, but it in a good, relaxing way. xoxo listen to: the drowned museum. |
