here i am ready for another full day...allow me to clarify from yesterday: there are beautiful things here. but the beautiful things are spread few and far between and two small children holding hands or two scared lovers embracing before one boards a train are beautiful in that they show people surviving fear through each other.
and before i go to sleep no one can hear me screaming or see my crying because i harnass the sensations before they become real and rechannel them into sleep.
people really need to smile more here.

"everyones talking in the language of corpses" - lovesick
the lasttime i saw lovesick play fred talked about how when lovesick goes on tour they always play with alot of hardcore bands and alot of these hardcore bands use alot of death imagery in their songs and merchandise. before one of these tours he faced som sort of bad loss (as if any loss is really good) and so he got frustrated with all this death imagery. like the people making it had never really lost anyone and it was completely insensitive to people who may have just lost someone. and then fred closed his little speech by saying something along the lines of: "it seems like maybe people should celebrate the beauty of their life when they are alive....and not take that for granted"
and i really don't like delving into someone else's thoughts here but i really felt the need to pass them along to you all. like maybe you could all make more sense of some things.
im gonna go shower and then out into the city. it is 852 am here.
